Grassy Birds
While the drips trickle down your spine
Close your eyes and breathe through your mind
Let it wander and see what lucid majesties you find.
Carefully tasting your minds’ thoughtless rain
As golden lace sweeps through your brain
Worries of tomorrow on your mind are refrained.
Call for the bird to dance with our eyes
Laws of all nature can be thinly defied
As we bask in the glory of treasures we find.
Rest not, for hours still will pass
As we spend years within one day in the grass
These hours were seconds magically made to last.
